Getting your allowance

Once your weekly allowance is stabilized, your primary interaction with this feature will be to withdraw (get) your allowance from your cash plan's checking account each week on the weekday you have chosen.

In the below example, you are entering how you got your allowance of $250 on Thursday, 8/7/2025.

Start by clicking on the Get button in the Allowance slider to open the Get allowance window.

In the Get allowance window:

The current balance in your Allowance ledger is shown here.
Select a date for when you withdrew your allowance (if you got your allowance over more than one day, use the scheduled get date)
The amount scheduled to be withdrawn is shown here.

In this example you:

Transferred $200 from your cash plan's checking account to the checking account with which you use a debit card.
Used an ATM to get $20 from your cash plan's checking account.

To continue the example, this week you have $30 left over from last week's allowance which you choose to add to your Unallocated ledger. To do this you:

right click on the Unallocated ledger to open the pop-up menu,
click on Edit, and
click on the OK button

The Total getting now is correct. Click on one of the Save buttons to complete the get.
