As illustrated below, the columns in your cash plan spreadsheet show your program calculated cashflow, including your net cashflow, as of the column date.
1 Expected to be available - The total amount of money that is expected to be available on the column date for paying scheduled bill and credit card payments, and doing scheduled set-asides for your allowance, sinking funds and short-term savings.
2 Allowance set asides - How much that will be set aside for your weekly allowance that is scheduled on the column date through the day before the next column in which the next allowance set-aside is scheduled. (In this example, the last allowance set-aside was done on 5/1/2025 and is again scheduled on 6/1/2025.)
3 Bill payments - The amount needed to make bill and pseudo bill payments that are due on the column date through the day before the next column date. (In this example, 5/15/2025 - 5/31/2025)
4 Credit card payments - The amount needed to make credit card payments that are due on the column date through the day before the next column date. (In this example, 5/15/2025 - 5/31/2025)
5 Sinking fund set asides - How much you plan to set aside to sinking funds on the column date.
6 Saving set asides - How much you plan to set aside to short-term savings on the column date.
7 Net cashflow - Your net cashflow as of the column date.
